Welcome to PulseCheck. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PulseCheck mobile application and related services (collectively, the “App”) provided by PulseCheck, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use PulseCheck. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Use of the App

PulseCheck is designed to provide wellness tools, self-assessments, educational materials, and peer support resources. It does not provide medical, psychological, or emergency services.

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes

  • Not misuse, copy, or attempt to reverse engineer the App

  • Respect the privacy and dignity of others in any community features or forums

  • If you are in crisis or experiencing an emergency, contact 911 or your local emergency services immediately

3. Accounts

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You agree not to share your account or allow others to access the App using your credentials.

4. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using PulseCheck, you consent to the practices described in that policy.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to PulseCheck and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or modify content without our written permission.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms or are using the App in a harmful way.

7. Disclaimers

PulseCheck is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, or meet your specific needs.

PulseCheck is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PulseCheck and its affiliates are not liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including indirect or incidental damages.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
